The park is essentially a conservation effort . It is designed to be like a walk in a riparian forest , so quite like how it is in a wildlife sanctuary ( and unlike a zoo ) , sighting of butterflies is not guaranteed .

The best season for butterflies is between October to February. But do try and watch the butterfly evolve : From its Egg to Caterpillar to a Chrysalis and  a butterfly emerge out from its cocoon on a sunny morning !

 

The butterflies are masters of their own flying in and out of the conservatory and will occasionally  may land on you , please do not touch them as it may damage their wings.

 

We have modules for schools according to the age of the students. Please contact us for booking educational trips.

 

Breakfast with butterflies : A Sunday program inclusive of breakfast , a guided tour of the conservatory ,a small trek up to the plateau . Batch size limited to 20 therefore prior registration required .

Butterflies in good vegetation are difficult to spot .  So during your visit , have patience and try and perfect the art of spotting butterflies while they are not flying around !! Sample these !
